How is Soap Noodles Made?

Laundry Soap noodles are manufactured using cheaper palm oil and some soap noodles already contain fillers like kaolin and sodium silicate that are added to laundry soap to make harder soap noodles. Laundry soap noodles are used to make laundry soap bars that can be used for washing clothes and other purposes.

To make soap noodles we have to process the raw materials, animal fats, and the oils.

With the help of any oil like palm oil, soybean oil, coconut oil, olive oil, etc we can make the soap noodles in the following two ways which are Hot process and the Cold process.

Hot Process – For the Hot process method you need ingredients like oil and fatty acids.

We also need a boiler to mix all the ingredients in it until the melting point.

We have to mix oil and fatty acids and boil them completely to make saponification. Saponification is the procedure in which the soap ingredients mix along with chemical compositions. After this is done, you will get glycerin as an after-effect of saponification.

After the saponification step is done we need to convert the mixture into small soup noodles by using the soup noodles mold.

Cold Process – In the cold procedure method, we need to heat the oil and the ingredients up to the liquid point, the oil must not be in solid form. Once the melting point is achieved and the oils are liquid then it must be ready for the saponification process.

In the saponification procedure, we mix the oil with alkali or fatty acids.

These soap noodles sustain glycerin and they do not need chemical substances for future conservation.

After the saponification process after less than 30  minutes, the soap is ready to pour in soap plastic mold. After a couple of days, the soap can be extracted from the mold and can be used.

Companies add various other components to soap noodles such as colorings and fragrances to create their own customized soap.
